NTK Europe has completed the full renovation of the roof over the Machining department including the installation of a new 367.35 kWp photovoltaic system.

The works started at the end of April and were completed in August 2026, covering about 5,000 m² of roof. The project delivers three key benefits:

• Clean energy: the system will generate approximately 420,000 kWh per year. Almost all of it will be used directly by our production departments, and it will avoid around 100 tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year.
• State-of-the-art insulation: reduces the roof's heat loss by 82%.
• Daylight and ventilation: 20 new openable sheds, which bring natural light and ventilation into the departments.

Generating part of our energy on our own roof makes us more efficient and less exposed to energy price swings, and it is a concrete step towards the sustainability goals we share with our customers.
